اعتیاد نوعی خودکشی تدریجی است. معضل مواد مخدر و اعتیاد به آن یک مشکل فراگیر جهانی است که تاکنون خسارات و زیانهای غیر قابل جبرانی را بر ملل جهان وارد کرده است و باعث گسترش فساد و تباهی در دهه های اخیر شده است.
