مقدمه: پرستار با شناسایی واکنش انسانها برابر مشکلات تهدید کننده سلامتی و ارائه راه حل های کارشناسی جهت کاهش و یا محدود نمودن دامنه این مشکلات، فعالیت می کند. دستیابی به این مهم، نیازمند تربیت افراد با استفاده از برنامه های آموزشی پیشرفته در سیستمهای آموزش عالی کشورها است. این برنامه های آموزشی در بسیاری از کشورها مشابه کشور ما و در دوره های چهار ساله کارشناسی پرستاری تدوین شده است.
