The main objective of ‎these care are healthy delivery without jeopardizing mothers’ health. Some factors prohibit receiving ‎proper and promote prenatal care and cause mother and child health complications. Knowing these ‎factors to identify groups at risk and needed areas for‏ ‏intervention is essential in every society.‎  Objective: To determine mothers receiving prenatal care from health centers in Rasht and ‎influencing factors from their view in ‎‏2008‏‎.‎  Methods: This descriptive study surveyed ‎‏354‏‎ mothers referring to health centers in Rasht city who ‎were chosen by cluster sampling. Data collection tool was a ‎‏3‏‎ part questionnaire.‎  Results: Findings showed that ‎‏53.4%‏‎ of women receiving insufficient prenatal care. There was a ‎significant correlation of care and employment condition (p=‎‏0.026‏‎) level of spouse’s education ‎‎(p=‎‏0.042‏‎) and income (p=‎‏0.005‏‎). The most effective factors on receiving prenatal care from ‎mothers’ view were "to know the manner and number of prenatal care".(‎‏85.3%‏‎). ‎  Conclusion: In existence of prenatal care in health centers, almost half of women do not use these ‎care provided. Among barriers to utilization of care were not knowing the manner and number of ‎prenatal care, compliance with the women's privacy in time of providing care and providers manner ‎of communication in health centers. Data was collected by a two part questionnaire which was self ‎administered. ‎ Results: The research findings revealed that faculty members obtained ‎‏65.9‏‎ percents of health ‎behaviors scores‏.‏‎ There was significant relation between health behaviors with sample's sex ‎‎(P=‎‏0.001‏‎), educational level (P=‎‏0.004‏‎), title (P=‎‏0.034‏‎) and history of chronic diseases (P=‎‏0.036‏‎).‎ Conclusion: In overall, faculty members’ health behaviors were in average level but their physical ‎activity was poor. There is limited literature and patient satisfaction is unknown.  ‎ Objective: The goal of this study was to survey schizophrenic patients’ satisfaction with ‎antipsychotic medication in Shafa psychiatric center in ‎‏2007‏‎. ‎ Methods: In this study ‎‏100‏‎ schizophrenic patients hospitalized in different wards of Shafa hospital ‎were chosen. Data collection instrument included a two part questionnaire. The first part with four ‎questions covered personal characteristics and the second part included satisfaction scale with ‎‏32‏‎ ‎questions. The ‎qualified elders filled the questionnaires included demographic characteristics and Rosenberg’s ‎Self-esteem measuring scale. The Pearson correlation between variables was determined using SPSS ‎soft ware version ‎‏15‏‎. ‎  Results: The average age of the participants was ‎‏73.53‏‎ (± ‎‏8.31‏‎). ‎‏4%‏‎ of participants were widowed, ‎‏43.8%‏‎ didn't have any children, ‎‏87.5%‏‎ were uneducated, and ‎‏12.5%‏‎ had primary education. Their ‎average time of residence was ‎‏1357±17.11‏days. The source of income for ‎‏59.4‏‎ % of participants ‎was through children and relatives. ‎‏27‏‎ elders (‎‏84.4%‏‎) had frequent visits with relatives. ‎‏34.4%‏‎ of ‎them had history of a disease. There were significant correlations between number of children, ‎marriage, education with job and number of previous jobs with gender job with education and ‎number of previous jobs and visit frequency with education and time of the last visit. Distraction as ‎a non-medical method is among independent nursing implementation which tends to soothe pain ‎with little cost and is attractive to children.‎  Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of distraction on average heart rate resulting ‎from IV insertion in ‎‏3-6‏‎ year old hospitalized children. ‎ Methods: In this clinical trial study, ‎‏72‏‎ children admitted to emergency ward undergoing IV ‎insertion were randomly divided into two control and experimental groups to determine the effect ‎of distraction. Sleep habits are ‎effective on the quality and quantity of sleep during childhood.‎ Objective: This study is carried out to identify the sleep habits of the students of primary schools. ‎ Methods: This is a cross – sectional study. The research society included all school age children in ‎the age range of ‎‏7‏‎ to ‎‏11‏‎, studying in districts ‎‏1‏‎ and ‎‏2‏‎ of Rasht city. Among these, ‎‏768‏‎ boy and girl ‎students of primary schools were selected from both districts using cluster method. Data gathering ‎tool was a questionnaire including two parts. The first part acquires personal and family information ‎and the second part includes ordinary questions about sleep, answered by the mothers. To analyze ‎the data, inferential and descriptive statistical methods were used.‎  Results: The research findings reveal that night – long insomnia is the most prevalent sleep habits ‎with the point of ‎‏1.79‏‎ ± ‎‏0.43‏‎ and ‎‏94.7%‏‎ always wake up during the night with perspiration and ‎scream and they do not become calm easily. These are the most prevalent sleep behavior in children ‎under study. The signs of ‎endometriosis on life's quality are multi-dimensional and most of them have a negative impact on ‎psycho – social parameters. All women who suffer from endometriosis express pain. Since pain has ‎negative impacts on quality of life, knowing the impact of this disease on QOL is important.‎  Objective: The goal of this study was to review literature related to endometriosis and its impact on ‎QOL. ‎ Methods: Searches were made via a number of electronic databases using defined search terms ‎since ‎‏2002‏‎ to ‎‏2008‏‎. ‎ Results: The conducted studies show that the signs of endometriosis especially pain, have impact ‎on life dimensions such as physical activity, the ability of role playing and working, social activities, ‎sexual relationship, mental and psychological health and energy. Infertility caused by endometriosis ‎has also effects on mental health and people's personality. Endometriosis has negative effects on ‎individual's self-image and the loss of feeling physical strength and fertility. The mental problems ‎involved with endometriosis such as the feeling of guilt and distress at workplace that are caused by ‎pain and sterility have impact on QOL. The other factors that can affect the quality of suffered ‎women's life include: The individual's physical appearance, feelings of social isolation, poor sleep, ‎avoidance of sexual intercourse and so on.‎  Conclusion: This review study shows that symptomatic endometriosis significantly affects women's ‎QOL. Most patients with endometriosis seek treatment and remedy for disease and problems ‎related to the gynecology such as sexual relationship problems, and they less deal with other ‎dimensions like psychological consultation that have important effect on life's quality.
